- Shaolin Grandmaster Shi Yan Liang becomes the new General Secretary of the Shaolin Europe Association.
- The new Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin system was introduced.
- In the autumn of this year there will be a training for the masters and trainers of the Shaolin Europe Association by Chinese Shaolin monks in Vienna.
